We're looking for a detail-oriented, bilingual Billing Specialist to manage our dental billing processes and insurance claims. This role is central to keeping patient accounts accurate and our billing operations running smoothly in a fast-paced clinic environment. Key Responsibilities Manage billing processes and insurance claims from start to finish
Accurately process, submit, and coordinate primary and secondary dental insurance claims
Create and review claims before submission
Submit claims through the appropriate channels and track their status
Follow up on outstanding insurance claims, appeals, denials, and rejections
Submit claim corrections and adjustments promptly
Navigate state-specific Medicaid billing guidelines and write-off protocols
Follow up on patient accounts and outstanding payments
Assist with monthly payment questions, updates, and changes
Create billing and insurance reports
Gather insurance information from new and existing patients
Work closely with clinical and administrative teams to ensure seamless operations
Assist with other billing-related responsibilities as needed
Key Qualifications Bilingual (English/Spanish)




Proficient in Open Dental software (preferably not required)
Proficiency with Google Workspace and general computer/software applications
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Strong collection and follow-up skills
Critical thinking skills for handling complex claim situations
Ability to prioritize, organize, and multitask at a high level
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
Strict attention to detail and data integrity across patient accounts
Ability to thrive under pressure and meet deadlines
Positive attitude and strong team player mindset
