We are seeking a Medical Image Annotation Technician to support Ion's Machine Learning Engineering team. In this role, you will work with CT, MRI, ultrasound, and bronchoscopy images to support the development of state-of-the-art image-guided robotic systems. You will create high-quality ground truth datasets for medical imaging algorithms using manual and semi-automated segmentation tools. This role requires strong attention to detail, and a focus on accuracy and consistency.
Essential Job Duties
- Perform manual and semi-automated segmentation of anatomical structures in medical images
- Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) to ensure consistent, high-quality annotations
- Conduct self-review and quality checks on completed work
- Document workflows, issues, and edge cases clearly
- Collaborate with engineers and clinical experts to refine annotation guidelines
