ACCOUNTING ASSISTANT (PART-TIME)

The Accounting Assistant keeps our day-to-day accounting work accurate, organized, and moving. You're known for your reliability and attention to detail. You take pride in getting things right the first time, and you don't need someone looking over your shoulder to get things done.

At The Outloud Group, we aim to deliver value without “I'm sorry” moments. You'll support our accounting team through our busiest season by processing creator invoices and tax forms, answering questions, and keeping records clean. You'll also help us roll out new automations that reduce manual work, so we'd love someone who notices when a process could be better.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

In this role you’ll:

- Process creator invoices accurately and on time
- Collect, review, and file creator tax forms (W-9s and W-8s)
- Respond to creator, vendor, and internal emails about invoices, payments, and documentation
- Enter and update records in QuickBooks Online
- Keep records organized, complete, confidential, and audit-ready
- Partner with our automation contractor to test new workflows, flag issues,



and help document how they work

REQUIREMENTS

Here's your background and what you've done before joining The Outloud Group team:

- 1+ year of accounting or bookkeeping experience (accounts payable, invoicing, recordkeeping)
- Familiarity with U.S. tax forms such as W-9s and W-8s, or the ability to learn them quickly
- Experience with QuickBooks (QuickBooks Online preferred)
- A fast learner who can work independently after a few weeks of onboarding
- Strong attention to detail and a high standard for accuracy
- Handles sensitive financial and personal information with discretion
- Clear, professional written communication in English
- Able to commit to an average of 20 hours per week
- Able to work independently in a remote team
- Bonus points if you have:
- Experience working with U.S.-based companies and transactions in U.S. dollars
- Experience with Salesforce, Ramp, or Excel/Google Sheets reporting
- Interest in automation or AI tools, or experience using them in finance work

This is a project-based, part-time role (about 20 hours/week) supporting our accounting team through peak season. Depending on team needs, there's potential to grow into a longer-term position.
