Job Summary
To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we're looking to add a Quote Project Analyst located in Guadalajara. Reporting to the Component Engineer the Quote Project Analyst's role involves:
What a typical day looks like:
Ensuring accurate, timely responses to customer quotations
Plan, implement and oversee all activities related to the quotation process including the preparation and coordination of Request for Quotations (RFQ's) for materials components, subassemblies and or services based on quote requirements received from various departments within the organization.
Review, evaluate and approve quotations for content and oversee the preparation of complete cost evaluation
Financial, P&L; and Product costing knowledge
Knowledgeable in manufacturing capabilities and is able to apply this knowledge to assure comprehensive solutions for quotation requirements
Ensures that adequate resources are allocated to the quote activity
Coordinates quoting activity including multi-site/multi-regional quotations
Set-up and facilitate the kick-off call, follow-up calls, and tracking all resulting activity
Drives issue resolution with internal and external customers
Understand the cost drivers within the financial models to suggest improvements and evaluate accuracy
Manages communication and information flow between sites, sales, regions, and customers
Keeps clear and accurate records of all quotations and customer documentation
Receives, reviews and distributes all quotation materials to the team
Understands the critical pieces of data needed to successfully complete a quote. Including, but not limited to, reading BOM's, AVL, and drawings (assembly, plastics, sheet metal, PCB, etc.)
Responsible for data inputs that drive metrics, such as, quote tracking log, business wins/losses, on time delivery, financials, etc.




Coordinates and collects all final quotation components (final pricing, costed BOMs, test requirements, logistics, NREs, assumptions, etc.)
Produces final proposal: Quote letters, business proposals, pricing matrix, surveys
Point of contact throughout the quotation process and ultimately responsible for overall management of the quotation

Bachelor's degree completed
undefined Experience working with suppliers and material sourcing
undefined Strong knowledge of electronic components and manufacturing materials
undefined Advanced English proficiency
undefined Experience analyzing RFQs/quotations and selecting the best material options based on cost, availability, and customer requirements
undefined Ability to collaborate with global teams, especially with the Milpitas site
undefined Strong analytical and communication skills
