the general ledger accountant will prepare journal entries, account reconciliations, and ensure accurate, timely financial reporting in compliance with u. S. Gaap standards.

key responsibilities & duties financial preparation: prepare journal entries and general ledger account reconciliations. Amortization & insurance: assist with amortization schedules and inter-company charges for risk insurance. Inter-company accounting: assist with inter-company loan schedules and journal entries. Tax & reporting: preparation of property tax renditions and amortization journal entries. Cross-functional communication: partner directly with plant managers, project leads, and department heads to verify asset status and resolve discrepancies. Time management:



multi-task effectively in a fast-paced environment to meet strict period-end close deadlines. Adaptability & collaboration: work collaboratively within the team while maintaining flexibility to adjust pace as project volumes fluctuate. Qualifications & requirements education: bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance. Experience: 0 to 2 years of accounting experience (experience in the manufacturing industry is a plus). Technical skills: knowledge of erp systems (e.g., oracle) is a plus. Soft skills: strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and data accuracy.
