Role OverviewThe Implementation Engineer is ahands-on senior network engineerresponsible for deploying and implementingmodern data center network architectureswithin enterprise environments. This role focuses on executing finalized designs, particularlyVXLAN EVPN fabrics ,BGP underlay/overlay , andArista-based solutions . This is aproduction-facing implementation role , not a support or NOC position. The ideal candidate hasdirect, hands-on experience deploying and troubleshooting data center networksusing Cisco Nexus and Arista technologies. Key ResponsibilitiesExecute hands-on implementation of finalizedArista and Cisco Nexus network designs Deploy and validateVXLAN EVPN fabricsin spine–leaf architectures Configure and troubleshootBGP underlay and overlay Perform network migrations and cutovers,



including weekend activities when required Run and troubleshootAnsible playbooksfor network automation and configuration tasks Validate configurations through testing to ensure stability, security, and performance Document implementations, SOPs, and configuration standards Collaborate with architects, project managers, and client engineering teams Support post-implementation optimization and tuningRequirements Mandatory 3+ years of hands-on experience indata center networking Hands-on experience withCisco Nexus (9K preferred) Hands-on experience withArista switchesin production environments Proven experience implementingVXLAN EVPN Strong working knowledge ofBGP , including underlay and overlay concepts Experience withspine–leaf architectures Ability to run and troubleshootAnsible playbooksin network environments Experience participating innetwork migrations / change windows Experience withArista CloudVision Portal (CVP) Python scripting for network automation Unix/Linux exposure CCNP or CCIE certification Financial services environment experience Availability to work weekends for migrations when requiredBenefits 100% Remote (Mexico) Contractor role Scalepex employee supporting a global enterprise client
