Fortrea seeks an experienced Clinical Team Lead for Phase I trials to oversee clinical delivery, project performance, and team management across contracted deliverables. The role involves driving clinical strategy, managing budgets and resources, and ensuring regulatory compliance in a matrix environment. Based in the US, Canada, or Mexico.
Responsibilities
Drive clinical project performance toward contracted deliverables while maintaining operational excellence and meeting customer needs
Oversee clinical and site management aspects of trials, including subject recruitment, retention, and vendor delivery
Lead development of clinical project strategy and ensure prioritization of scope, timelines, quality, and budget
Manage clinical project budgets, resources, and financial forecasting while ensuring adherence to financial milestones




Build and mentor high-performing clinical teams, providing leadership and facilitating communication across matrixed, multicultural environments
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in life science or certification in nursing, medical technology, or allied health field
2+ years as Clinical Team Lead or equivalent combination of education and experience
Phase I/FIH clinical trial experience
Working knowledge of ICH Guidelines, GCP, and international regulatory requirements
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Project, Access, PowerPoint)
Proven experience managing projects in matrix and virtual environments
Fluent in English, written and verbal
