Johnson & Johnson seeks a Government Affairs Manager to develop and execute healthcare policy strategy in Mexico, translating political and regulatory developments into business priorities. The role involves building stakeholder relationships, advancing responsible policy solutions, and serving as a trusted adviser to senior leadership on government engagement and market access.
Responsibilities
Develop and execute multi-year government affairs strategy aligned with business and patient access objectives
Monitor political, legislative, regulatory, and reimbursement developments; provide scenario analysis and executive briefings
Build relationships with government officials, regulators, payers, patient groups, and policy influencers
Advise senior leaders on policy environment, prepare executives for government engagements, and manage emerging risks
Partner with Commercial, Regulatory Affairs,
Market Access, and other functions to integrate government affairs into portfolio strategy
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in public policy, political science, law, economics, healthcare administration, or related field
8–12 years of progressive government affairs, public policy, healthcare, or MedTech experience
Demonstrated success developing advocacy strategies and engaging senior government stakeholders
Strong knowledge of healthcare systems, regulation, reimbursement, and medical technology policy
Ability to translate policy developments into actionable business recommendations
Advanced degree preferred; excellent written and verbal communication skills
