Dotmatics seeks a Senior Full Stack Engineer to develop features for Luma, an AI-native research platform serving the scientific community. The role involves building scalable services across microservices architecture, working with Node.js/React, and contributing to a cloud-based R&D; platform used by millions of scientists globally.
Responsibilities
Lead development of complex features across microservices architecture, covering backend and frontend
Design and maintain serverless, event-driven data pipelines for scientific data processing
Build asynchronous services and APIs that perform reliably under high load
Ensure code quality and maintain technical health of the codebase
Requirements
Expert-level proficiency in Node.js and React ecosystems
Experience designing and implementing microservice-based architectures
Strong background with asynchronous, event-driven systems
Demonstrated ability to build serverless and streaming data pipelines
Knowledge of high-volume data handling and scalable API design
Experience with distributed systems and message-based workflows
