The role focuses on cross-platform desktop applications using Node.js and React, with emphasis on reliability, process orchestration, and asynchronous communication across Windows, Linux, and macOS.
Responsibilities
Build software connecting laboratory instruments and applications to modern R&D; workflows
Develop reliable cross-platform desktop applications using Node.js and React
Design and implement process orchestration and inter-process communication systems
Solve complex technical problems around parallelization and asynchronous data handling
Collaborate with integral team to integrate laboratory environments into the Luma platform
Requirements
Proficiency with Node.js and React for full-stack development
Experience building desktop applications across Windows, Linux, and macOS
Strong understanding of inter-process communication and process orchestration
Background in industrial, laboratory, instrumentation, or connected-device environments
Expertise with asynchronous communication patterns and streams processing
Comfortable working close to the operating system level
