Responsibilities
Lead architecture and evolution of event-driven data processing platform services
Drive migration of execution platform components to Node.js/TypeScript and Python stack
Ensure reliable processing of scientific data through multi-step pipelines on shared infrastructure
Manage distributed systems challenges including multi-tenancy, cancellation, and recovery
Requirements
Expert-level experience with distributed systems and event-driven architectures
Strong proficiency in Node.js, TypeScript, and Python
Deep understanding of asynchronous message passing and microservices coordination
Experience managing multi-tenant systems with crash recovery and state coordination
Proven ability to lead technical architecture decisions and drive system migrations
