Role Description This is a part-time, on-site Cultural Manager role based in Guadalajara, JAL. between Colonia Americana and Colonia Moderna. It is a 20 to 23 hours job, the conditions are free-lance. The Cultural Manager will coordinate, design, and implement the activities of the Arts Residency Jupiterfab ensuring alignment with the artistic vision and community goals. Day-to-day responsibilities include planning and managing events, coordinating schedules and logistics, supporting artists in terms of logistics and communication, overseeing collaborations with artists, institutions, and community partners, be in charge of the conditions of the residency (coordinating with me if it needs any maintenance); running the social medias (instagram and facebook) of the residency. The role involves developing communication and outreach materials, managing public relations activities, and promoting initiatives across appropriate channels. The Cultural Manager will also monitor project budgets and timelines, prepare reports and evaluations, and support grant applications and partnership proposals.




Qualifications
• Strong cultural management skills, including basic experience organizing and supervising cultural projects and programs.
• Excellent communication abilities, with capacity for clear written and verbal communication in diverse and multicultural environments.
• Being fluent in English.
• Basic event planning experience, including logistics coordination, vendor management, and on-site execution of cultural and artistic events.
• Public relations skills to build and maintain relationships with artists, institutions, media, sponsors, and community stakeholders.
• Background or strong interest in art, with familiarity with contemporary artistic practices and cultural trends.
• Proven organizational and time-management skills.
• Experience in community engagement or social-impact initiatives is beneficial.
