Job Description
• Lead operational delivery, including Incident (INC), Request (RITM), and Change management activities for AIX & Linux track.
• 10+ years of experience in managing AIX and Linux environment including Upgrades , patch management, vulnerability remediation.
• Lead AIX upgrade program for End-of-Life refresh - currently 100+ server upgrades in pipeline
• Plan and execute upcoming infrastructure initiatives in AIX estate including VIO upgrades and PowerPath to MPIO migration (Critical)
• Skilled in Ansible and automation scripting
• Engage key stakeholders on project planning and requirements.
• Oversee AIX and Linux server patching and vulnerability remediation, coordinating closely with application owners.
• End-of-Life (EOL) planning and refresh strategy for AIX and Linux environments.
• On call and weekend support for critical issues and planned maintenance activities.
