Responsible for developing and implementing occupational health programs that promote employee health, wellness, and injury prevention. Oversees plant medical services and nursing operations, supports EHS initiatives, ensures compliance with health and safety regulations, and contributes to a safe and healthy work environment.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide medical attention to employees and coordinate external medical services when required.
- Manage plant medical services, including nursing staff and daily health operations.
- Maintain medical records, incident databases, and required health documentation.
- Support workplace incident investigations and corrective actions.
- Ensure compliance with applicable health, hygiene, and occupational regulations (STPS, IMSS, SS, LFT, etc.).
- Coordinate pre-employment, periodic, and special medical examinations.
- Participate in ergonomic assessments and MSD prevention initiatives.
- Manage ST7, ST9, ST2 processes and commuting accident documentation.
- Liaise with health institutions and government agencies to support health programs and employee care.
- Administer and control medical supplies and medication usage.




- Promote employee wellness through education and training programs on health, disease prevention, first aid, substance abuse, nutrition, family planning, and related topics.
- Support Health & Safety Committees, emergency response teams, and EHS initiatives.
- Foster a proactive culture of health, safety, and well-being across the organization.

Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in a related field.
- 5-10 years of experience in Occupational Health, Medical Services, EHS, or related areas.
- English proficiency.
- Knowledge of occupational health regulations, industrial hygiene, ergonomics, and incident management.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
- Experience with hazardous materials handling and risk prevention programs.
- Ability to develop and deliver training to diverse audiences.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively with employees and leaders at all organizational levels.
- Critical thinking, innovation, and continuous improvement mindset.
