Position: Quality Engineer

Job Summary:

The Quality Engineer is responsible for ensuring compliance with established quality standards and systems, minimizing complaints, and testing systems and procedures to guarantee adherence to technical standards and quality documentation requirements.

Main Responsibilities:

• Ensure compliance with the Quality Management System (QMS)

• Ensure the proper application of quality standards in production processes

• Act as a liaison between departments to ensure quality

• Generate reports on defects in products, processes, and materials

• Monitor compliance with quality standards within operations

• Follow up on continuous improvement and scrap reduction projects

• Facilitate proactive solutions by collecting and analyzing quality data

• Manage the disposition process for defective or damaged materials during production

• Conduct quality audits of products and materials

• Support analysis of failures related to processes and supervision

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure production success

• Prepare and maintain quality process documentation

• Knowledge of methodologies (LMF, VSM, TPM, 5S)

• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by supporting efforts to enhance production processes





• Regulatory compliance and support in internal audits, SAT, Infonavit, Labor Law , STPS standards, IMSS, QMS, and ISO 9001

• Compliance with internal standards, policies, and processes related to health, safety, environment, and human resources

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in quality, Electronic, Mechatronic, or Industrial Engineering

• More than 2 years of experience in quality processes

• Experience in project management and quality operations

• Experience in monitoring and developing quality processes

• Knowledge of mechanical and/or electrical design

• Knowledge of quality control, audits, and Quality Management Systems (QMS)

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office

• Knowledge of metrology systems

• Knowledge of analysis and statistics

• Strong analytical skills, customer focus, and problem-solving abilities, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work in cross-functional teams

• Highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple activities

• Experience implementing corrective actions to improve processes

• Development of processes, procedures, and policies

• Advanced English
