A leading automotive manufacturing company is seeking an experienced General Manager with a strong background in high-volume production operations and customer management within the automotive industry.

The adecuado candidate must have solid experience leading manufacturing plants, improving production efficiency, managing operational teams, and maintaining strong communication and negotiation with OEM/Tier 1 automotive customers.

Position Objective

Lead plant production operations to ensure achievement of safety, quality, delivery, and productivity targets. The position will focus heavily on manufacturing execution, operational stability, customer relationship management, and continuous improvement within an automotive environment.

The General Manager will also act as a key operational representative with automotive customers, supporting negotiations, audits, escalation management, production planning discussions, and launch activities.

Main Responsibilities

- Lead daily plant operations with strong focus on Production and Manufacturing performance.
- Ensure production targets and customer delivery schedules are consistently achieved.
- Drive operational efficiency improvements in productivity, scrap reduction, OEE, FTQ, and labor utilization.
- Lead production planning execution together with Logistics and Supply Chain teams.
- Manage and support production launches, engineering changes, and manufacturing transfers.
- Supervise Production, Maintenance, Engineering, Quality, Logistics, and EHS departments.
- Lead problem-solving activities related to production, quality issues, and customer escalations.
- Participate directly in customer meetings, production reviews,



operational negotiations, audits, and launch discussions with OEM/Tier 1 customers.
- Maintain strong customer relationships and provide quick response to operational concerns.
- Ensure compliance with IATF 16949, APQP, PPAP, and customer-specific automotive requirements.
- Coordinate preventive and corrective actions to maintain production stability.
- Develop cost reduction initiatives and manufacturing efficiency strategies.
- Report plant operational performance to executive leadership and international headquarters.

Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
- Minimum 8–10 years of experience in automotive manufacturing operations.
- Previous experience as Plant Manager, Operations Manager, Production Manager, or Senior Manufacturing Leader.
- Strong experience in:
- Production management
- Injection molding operations
- Operational negotiations with OEM/Tier 1 customers
- Lean Manufacturing & Continuous Improvement
- Advanced knowledge of IATF 16949, APQP, PPAP, and automotive core tools.
- Strong leadership and decision-making skills in fast-paced manufacturing environments.
- Advanced English required.
