ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for a Software Architect to assess our platform's architecture and define a target-state design for an FDA-regulated SaaS product.

MUST HAVES
- Proven success operating as a Lead Software Architect, Principal Engineer, or similar senior technical leader.
- Strong software engineering fundamentals, specifically SOLID and GRASP design principles and deep understanding of modern architecture patterns.
- Experience with layered system architectures, specifically Domain-Driven Design (DDD), Anti-Corruption Layer, Hexagonal architecture, or other clean architecture principles.
- Experience in designing, architecting,



and scaling SaMD (Software as a Medical Device) solutions in compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Proven experience designing APIs, data models, and integration layers in complex, multi-language system architectures.
- Direct experience identifying and remediating technical debt, designing legacy modernization strategies, and executing large-scale refactoring.
- Strong background improving CI/CD and software delivery lifecycles while maintaining system security, auditability, and resiliency in private cloud environments.
- Exceptional communication skills with the ability to convey complex architectural decisions to stakeholders and effectively mentor remote engineering teams.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize effectively, and demonstrate unquestionable character and integrity.

- Experience with DB schema assessment, zero-downtime migrations, query optimization, denormalization strate
