Description
The Manager Signals and Communications (S&C;) Engineering is tasked with ensuring any new oraltered Signals & Communication (S&C;) systems have been rigorously validated per CPKC standards, US Federal Railroad Administration (FRA), and Agencia de Trenes y Transporte Público Integrado (ATTRAPI) regulations, and verification results are satisfactory before the S&C; system isplaced into service.
Accountabilities
- Monitor Document,



implement, monitor, and enforce T&C; processes, Regulatory requirements,CPKC Required Practices and Red Book requirements
- Produce, and check system level test documentation
- Coordinate, produce documentation, and validate vital software application testing.
- Coordinate verification and validation activities, including project phasing plan, schedule,resources and test team management, within S&C; Construction, S&C; Design, and S&C; ProjectControls
- Ensure the timely delivery of different milestones, including field audits, and verification andvalidation documentation
- Authorize and approve placing S&C; systems in service after test activities are complete
- Review and provide recommendations for improvements for CPKC S&C; technical andprocedural standards to ensure that the best possible practices are in place
