About the Role We are looking for a Customs Specialist to lead and support customs compliance activities within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role will be responsible for ensuring compliance with IMMEX regulations, Annex 24 administration, inventory control processes, and import/export requirements while partnering closely with internal stakeholders across operations, finance, legal, and trade compliance.
The ideal candidate will have strong experience in customs regulations, IMMEX-certified companies, inventory control systems, and foreign trade operations.
Key Responsibilities Manage and maintain the Annex 24 inventory control system, ensuring accuracy and regulatory compliance.
Monitor and support IMMEX program compliance requirements.
Coordinate customs compliance activities related to imports and exports.
Support regularization processes of materials and inventory discrepancies.
Participate in Annex 24 reconciliations and inventory reconstruction projects.
Ensure compliance with applicable customs and foreign trade regulations.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including operations, finance, legal, and logistics-related functions.
Analyze customs and inventory data to identify risks, discrepancies, and improvement opportunities.
Support audits, government reviews, and compliance assessments.
Develop and implement process improvements to strengthen trade compliance and operational efficiency.
Qualifications Bachelor's degree in International Business, Foreign Trade, International Commerce, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field.
2+ years of experience managing Annex 24 or customs inventory control systems.
Experience working in IMMEX-certified manufacturing companies.
Knowledge of customs regulations, import/export processes, and foreign trade compliance.
Experience with inventory reconciliation, material regularization, and compliance reporting.
