We are looking for an experienced Plant Quality Head to lead the Quality function for a high-performance automotive manufacturing operation in Monterrey.

This is a key plant leadership position for a hands-on Quality leader who combines strong automotive technical expertise with the ability to lead teams, drive accountability on the shop floor, and build trusted relationships with demanding automotive customers.

The adecuado candidate is not only strong in Quality Systems and compliance, but also highly operational: someone who is comfortable being on the production floor, leading problem-solving activities, challenging processes, developing the Quality team, and personally engaging with customers when critical quality issues arise.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, or related field; Master’s degree is a plus.
- Advanced English and Spanish, with strong communication and presentation skills.
- 10+ years of progressive Quality experience, including leadership responsibility within an automotive manufacturing environment.




- Strong experience within Tier 1 / Tier 2 automotive suppliers.
- Proven experience managing customer quality requirements, escalations, complaints, and corrective actions.
- Strong knowledge of IATF 16949, Core Tools (APQP, PPAP, FMEA, SPC, MSA) and customer-specific requirements.
- Solid experience with structured problem-solving methodologies such as 8D, 5 Why, Ishikawa, DOE, SPC, and statistical analysis.
- Experience leading internal, customer, certification, and process audits.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and the ability to translate Quality requirements into practical shop-floor actions.
- Experience developing Quality teams and building a strong quality culture and ownership mindset throughout Operations.
