ASFM is seeking a Specialist Co-Teacher to collaborate with classroom teachers and specialists in providing differentiated instruction and inclusive learning experiences across the curriculum.
Key Responsibilities:
• Co-plan and co-teach lessons with classroom teachers.
• Provide small-group and individual academic support.
• Implement differentiated instruction, UDL, and evidence-based strategies.
• Monitor and analyze student progress to inform instruction.
• Collaborate with Learning Support, EAL, and other specialist teams.
• Support positive classroom management and student engagement.
• Communicate effectively with teachers, parents, and specialists.
• Participate in professional development and contribute to an inclusive school culture.
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Education, Special Education,
or related field.
• Valid teaching credential or license.
• Minimum 3 years of teaching experience.
• Experience with co-teaching, inclusion, Learning Support, or specialized instruction preferred.
• Strong knowledge of differentiation and diverse learning needs.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Fluent English required; Spanish preferred.
