What you will bring to the team

Toshiba General Commerce Solutions is seeking an HR Intern to support day-to-day HR operations and employee service activities in Mexico City. This role is designed for a current university student who is eager to learn, highly organized, detail-oriented, and interested in building a strong foundation in Human Resources. The intern will work closely with the local HR team, supporting employee records, HR databases, communications, site activities, and continuous-improvement projects.

What you will be doing:

• Provide first-line support for routine employee questions and HR requests, escalating matters when appropriate.

• Follow up with employees to obtain missing documentation and help maintain complete employee files.

• Organize, safeguard, digitalize, and maintain physical and electronic employee records in accordance with established HR processes and confidentiality requirements.

• Maintain employee databases, trackers, and HR information with a strong focus on accuracy and data quality.

• Support SharePoint updates, HR communications, flyers,



and other employee-facing materials.

• Support HR activities, employee initiatives, and site events in Mexico City.

• Assist with recurring reports, data validation, basic metrics, and Excel-based HR projects.

• Participate in HR projects and identify opportunities to simplify, organize, or improve day-to-day processes.

• Progressively take ownership of assigned activities as knowledge and experience develop.

To be successful in this role, you must have the following:

• Current university student in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, Industrial Relations, or a related field.

• Availability to support the HR team Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.

• Availability to work under a hybrid model, attending the office at least 3 days per week and being available onsite on other weekdays when business needs require.
