Tax Associate/Accountant – Job Description

We are seeking a Tax Accountant with at least five years’ recenttax experience in public accounting. The candidate must have excellentcommunication and interpersonal skills.

Compensation commensurate with experience and a benefit packageavailable for full-time employees.

Responsibilities
- Review client providedgeneral ledger and financial statements and prepare journal entries as neededto compile mid-year and year-end financial statements for book and tax purposes.
- Prepare individual,corporate, partnership, trust, and exempt organizations tax returns includingsome multi-state issues.
- Consult with clientsand provide tax planning.
- Develop strong workingrelationships with clients.

Requirements

Qualifications:
- Master’s degree intaxation a plus but not required
- Minimum of 3 yearsrecent public accounting experience
