About the Role
We are seeking a motivated, results-oriented Software Engineer or Computer Scientist to join our team. The Software Engineer will be responsible for developing and maintaining Carrier eDesign software-based tools for the design and optimization of heating ventilating, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems in buildings.




Key Responsibilities:
As a Software Engineer, you'll be responsible for:
- Developing desktop and web-based software applications for HVAC system design and energy modeling.
- Analyzing software requirements and design software solutions.
- Producing clean, efficient code that meets software requirements.
- Performing unit and system testing.
- Working collaboratively with other developers on development projects.
- Maintaining, troubleshooting, and debug existing software.
- Contributing to establishing department guidelines and standards for development of software.
- Evaluating and identifying new libraries, tools, and technologies for use by the software development team, as needed.
