In this role, you will:
Developing, implementing, and maintaining IT compliance policies and procedures
Conducting regular audits to identify areas of non-compliance and implementing corrective actions
Collaborating with IT teams to ensure compliance requirements are integrated into system designs
Keeping abreast of industry regulations and best practices to proactively address compliance issues
Overseeing compliance training programs for employees to increase awareness and understanding
Responding to compliance-related inquiries and issues from internal and external stakeholders
Monitoring and reporting on compliance metrics and key performance indicators
Leading compliance assessments and risk assessments
Updating and maintaining documentation related to IT compliance activities
Investigating incidents of non-compliance and developing remediation plans
Implementing controls to safeguard the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of data
Participating in internal and external compliance audits




Collaborating with legal and regulatory affairs teams to interpret and implement regulatory requirements
Providing guidance and recommendations on compliance-related matters to senior management
Contributing to the development of compliance strategies and initiatives

Essential skills and requirements:
Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field
Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) or similar certification preferred
3+ years of experience in IT compliance or a related field
Strong knowledge of industry regulations such as GDPR, HIPAA, or SOX
Experience with compliance management software and tools
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
Proven track record of implementing successful compliance programs
Familiarity with risk management principles
Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and dynamic work environment
