Materials Planner III Position Summary

Responsible for managing procurement and supply chain activities to ensure material availability, inventory optimization, and uninterrupted production operations. This role supports demand planning, material requirements planning (MRP), supplier management, purchase order management, inventory control, and supply chain risk mitigation to meet production schedules and customer commitments.

Key Responsibilities

- Analyze demand and forecasts to support material planning.
- Manage MRP and execute purchasing activities according to production requirements.
- Ensure material availability to support production schedules and new product introductions.
- Monitor supplier performance and follow up on delivery commitments.
- Manage inventory levels and safety stock strategies.
- Identify and mitigate supply chain disruptions.
- Resolve past due backlog issues and support continuous improvement initiatives.
- Coordinate with Planning, Operations, Sourcing, and Suppliers to ensure business continuity.

Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Supply Chain, or related field.
- 3+ years of experience in procurement and supply chain management.
- Experience with MRP/ERP systems, preferably Oracle.
- Experience managing overseas suppliers and long lead time materials.
- Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- English proficiency required.
