Activities/Responsibilities
- Oversee purchasing activities and manage strategic supplier relationships.
- Ensure material availability in line with MRP requirements.
- Negotiate pricing, lead times, payment terms, and other commercial conditions.
- Develop and implement cost-reduction initiatives.
- Track supplier performance across quality, delivery, cost, and service.
- Address material shortages and coordinate supplier recovery plans.
- Support inventory optimization initiatives.
- Identify and develop alternative suppliers to reduce supply-chain risk.
Experience and Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, economics, supply chain management
- At least 5 years of demonstrated experience in a buyer or procurement role.
- Proficient English communication skill to interact with internal/external customer and suppliers.
- Customer service oriented.
- MRP/ROP/MIN MAX/KAN BAN
