We’re looking for an experienced mid-level WordPress Developer to join our Legal Marketing agency. The WordPress Developer is responsible for independently developing and maintaining WordPress websites with custom functionality. This role requires solid experience in PHP, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS/SASS, with the ability to build custom themes and plugins while ensuring performance, accessibility, and SEO best practices. The developer will collaborate across teams and support junior developers, while continuing to strengthen technical and problem-solving skills.Position Responsibilities

Build and customize WordPress themes and plugins from scratchConvert design mockups into pixel-perfect, responsive websitesDevelop dynamic functionality using PHP and JavaScriptOptimize websites for speed, performance, and SEOEnsure mobile responsiveness and cross-browser compatibilityPerform code reviews for junior developers and provide mentorshipImplement integrations with APIs and third-party toolsManage deployments and troubleshoot hosting issues on platforms such as WP EngineMaintain and improve existing websites based on client and SEO needsCross-Functional Responsibilities

Collaborate with designers, project managers,



and SEO specialists to deliver solutionsCommunicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholdersProvide technical guidance and support to junior developersSupport internal teams with questions or technical issues related to developmentRequirements

Minimum Requirements

English speaking and writing fluency required3+ years of experience in web development, with at least 1-2 years focused on WordPressProficiency in PHP, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and SASSExperience in ACF Pro, Gravity Forms, Yoast, and CPTFamiliarity with WordPress core functions and architectureExperience with Git/version control workflowsAbility to troubleshoot and debug efficientlyStrong problem-solving skillsAbility to mentor and guide junior developersClear and effective communication across teamsDetail-oriented with a focus on delivering high-quality workProactive, adaptable, and collaborative mindsetStrong organizational and time management abilitiesPreferred Qualifications
