Workstations Business Development Manager - Mexico Description - Job Summary
This role is responsible for the business development of the Advanced Computing Solutions (Workstations) portfolio in Mexico for HP. This person will be responsible for understanding the workstation products and industry, its main applications for SMB and enterprise, and will lead the engagement with key clients, and the designing of customized solutions to fit customer needs. The role conducts market research, identifies new opportunities, and focuses on supporting and enabling internal sales teams to excel on the sales of workstation solutions. The role stays on top of market trends and designs and executes strategies to capture the market opportunities.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrates a deep understanding of the organization's workstation products, services, as well as the industry to effectively position the offerings and articulate their value to potential clients.
- Engages with key stakeholders within client organizations, including executives and decision-makers, to build relationships and ensure satisfaction with the organization’s offerings.
- Engages with clients to design customized solutions for their unique business needs in collaboration with product experts and engineers.
- Utilizes expertise to identify new opportunities and enhance existing ones, thus boosting the sales pipeline, and driving pursuit.
- Conducts in-depth market research to identify trends and emerging opportunities and provides insights to the internal teams contributing to the development of sales strategies.
- Supports internal generalist sales teams and channel sales teams to ensure growth of the workstation portfolio above market.
- Gathers and relays feedback from clients to the internal teams to help refine existing offerings and strategies, and guide the development of new products or features.
- Stays informed about industry-specific regulations and compliance requirements that may impact sales activities,
ensuring that all engagements are compliant.
Education & Experience Recommended
- Four-year or Graduate Degree in Sales, Marketing, Business Administration, or any other related discipline or commensurate work experience or demonstrated competence.
- Typically has 7-10 years of work experience, preferably in technical selling, consultative selling, sales specialist role supporting generalist sales organizations, account management, or a related field.
