Within Activate, the Kearney Operations System (KOS) is our global team of operations specialists. We work within client teams, bringing the right experts and the right tools to deliver measurable impact across three connected operational domains: Plan: Optimizing end-to-end supply chain processes, demand forecasting, inventory management, and digital transformation. Source: Driving sourcing excellence, strategic negotiations, procurement transformation, and cost optimization. Deliver: Improving logistics, transportation efficiency, network optimization and operational execution. Role Overview As a Senior Operations Analyst, you will be a key contributor to Kearney client delivery and the development of KOS offerings and tools. You will independently manage analyses and defined work streams, translating operational data into actionable recommendations for client teams. Your work will focus on Source, sourcing excellence, procurement transformation, logistics and digital operations, and likely involve overlaps in the upstream and downstream value chain. You will also help codify reusable knowledge and coach more junior colleagues. Key Responsibilities Source Execute or lead spend analysis, category baselines, sourcing strategy and cost-optimization work. Support strategic negotiations,
supplier management improvements, and design-to-value programs. Apply the latest in digital and AI-backed approaches to drive procurement work streams using a range of Kearney proprietary and third-party solutions Develop and implement tools and solutions that improve sourcing effectiveness and procurement performance. Lead clients in change management to ensure value realization with program management, savings tracking, and supplier transition steps KOS and Client Development Contribute to proposals, client development initiatives, and solution design. Codify methodologies, benchmarks, case examples and tools for the KOS Center of Excellence. Review work products and coach analysts on analytical quality, communication and project execution. Who You Are 3-5 years of experience in supply chain consulting, operations strategy, transformation, or procurement operations. Master’s degree or MBA preferred. Experience working with North American or U. S.-based clients is a plus. Strong quantitative and analytical skills, with experience making data-driven decisions. Demonstrated ability to manage work streams independently and deliver high-quality outcomes under tight deadlines. Strong stakeholder management, presentation, and communication skills. Previously exposed to sourcing, procurement, or related operations transformations, in a consulting or similar project-based setting. Experience / proficiency using LLM platforms (Chat GPT, Claude) to accelerate workflows for research, and deliverable deployment and validation. Knowledge of tools such as Coupa, Jaggaer or Keelvar,and other Source-to-contract solutions,
with the ability to guide clients and projects teams on usage. Advanced Excel modeling required; Power BI, and similar visualization solutions experience is a plus. Adaptability, ownership and a passion for delivering tangible client impact. Willingness to travel to client locations when required.
