Responsible for ensuring the quality and compliance of products, materials, and manufacturing processes, both internally and across the supplier base. This position provides technical support to identify, investigate, and resolve quality issues, working cross-functionally with Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, and suppliers. Ensure compliance with quality specifications and standards for materials, components, and manufacturing processes. Provide technical support for machining, welding, materials, and special processes . Investigate nonconformities and lead root cause analysis and corrective actions. Apply quality tools and methodologies such as 8 D, FMEA, MSA, SPC, RCA, Control Plans, and SCAR/CAR . Conduct process and supplier audits. Manage supplier quality issues and participate in Supplier Development and escalation activities. Monitor key performance indicators such as FPY, OTD, SCAR closure, and audit results . Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve complex product and process issues. Participate in initiatives to reduce defects, scrap,



rework, and the Cost of Poor Quality (COPQ) . Ensure compliance with ISO 9001 , engineering specifications, and customer requirements. Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Materials Engineering, or a related field . Experience in Quality Engineering and/or Supplier Quality Engineering , preferably within the metal-mechanical manufacturing industry . Knowledge of quality tools and methodologies , including root cause analysis and corrective actions. Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications . Knowledge of manufacturing processes and quality standards . Experience with CNC machining, welding, and GD&T; is preferred. Experience conducting supplier and process audits is preferred. Knowledge of API, ASME, AWS, and/or NDT standards and practices is preferred. #J-18808-Ljbffr
