Responsibilities

• Design resilient, compliant, and auditable service architectures for financial platforms
• Lead refactoring and redesign initiatives on critical systems to improve reliability and maintainability




• Build Python web services and APIs using Flask and FastAPI
• Define database models and data access patterns using PostgreSQL
• Implement robust automated tests and coordinate manual integration testing where needed
• Operate and troubleshoot services using AWS capabilities such as S3, Lambda, and CloudWatch
• Enforce code review standards and mentor peers through feedback and shared learning
• Collaborate with agile teams to plan, estimate, and deliver high-impact features
• Coordinate work across general teams to align technical decisions and delivery timelines

Requirements

• 5+ years of Python web development experience with Flask and FastAPI
• 5+ years of cloud engineering experience with Amazon Web Services
• Leadership experience guiding architecture and code quality in distributed teams
• Project experience delivering complex, high-stakes applications in agile environments
• Strong system design expert
