If you are a Process Technician Jr. professional looking for an opportunity to grow your career, Emerson has an exciting opportunity for you in Reynosa, Tamaulipas. In this role, you will support plastic injection molding operations by executing model changeovers, monitoring process performance, troubleshooting production issues, and ensuring equipment operates safely and efficiently. You will work closely with Production, Tool Room, Maintenance, Quality, and Process Engineering teams to maintain stable processes, product quality, and operational excellence.

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

- Review production schedules and prioritize model changeovers according to manufacturing requirements.

- Execute complete model changes, including machine shutdown, preparation, hopper cleaning, resin blending, startup, and process verification.

- Support Process Technicians with machine recovery, process adjustments, purging activities, scrap reduction, and troubleshooting production issues.

- Maintain stable molding processes that achieve standard cycle times and complete cavity performance.

- Analyze and adjust processes to address defects, quality concerns, or production inefficiencies.

- Monitor product quality throughout the shift and escalate issues when necessary.

- Perform routine mold cleaning, lubrication, nozzle inspection, and related preventive activities.

- Complete operational checklists, including shift startup, model changeovers, crane inspections, and other required documentation.

- Verify that molding machines, robots, temperature controllers, hot runner systems, granulators, and other peripheral equipment operate correctly.

- Communicate equipment conditions, production status, and shift handoff information effectively.

- Promote and maintain housekeeping standards through 5S practices.

- Collaborate with Tool Room, Maintenance, Process Engineering,



Quality, and Production teams to support manufacturing objectives.

- Follow all safety procedures, including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO), PPE requirements, and company policies related to ethics, safety, and workplace conduct.

For This Role, You Will Need:

- High School Diploma or equivalent combination of education, training, and practical experience.

- Experience supporting plastic injection molding processes in a manufacturing environment.

- Knowledge of injection molding machines and production startup/changeover activities.

- Understanding of process troubleshooting and process stability concepts.

- Familiarity with robots, temperature controllers, hot runner systems, granulators, valve gate systems, core-pull molds, air-shot systems, and related molding equipment.

- Knowledge of quality monitoring and manufacturing process controls.

- Basic understanding of Electrical, Pneumatic, and Hydraulic systems.

- Ability to read and follow technical instructions, procedures, and production documentation.

- Technical English skills sufficient to understand work instructions and technical information.

- Strong teamwork, communication,



and problem-solving abilities.

- Commitment to safety, continuous improvement, and workplace organization.

Preferred Qualifications That Set You Apart:

- Approximately 7 years of experience in a manufacturing or maquiladora environment.

- Approximately 5 years of experience in plastic injection molding operations.

- Experience supporting complex molding processes and high-volume manufacturing environments.

- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, 5S, and continuous improvement methodologies.

- Experience troubleshooting molding defects and optimizing machine performance.

- Familiarity with production reporting systems and manufacturing documentation.
