Sobre nuestro clienteA company in the industrial and manufacturing industry located in Tijuana.DescripciónAs EHS Manager, you will be responsible for leading the Environmental, Health & Safety strategy of one site of over 700 employees, ensuring regulatory compliance while fostering a proactive and prevention-focused safety mindset.Key responsibilities include:- Lead all Environmental, Health & Safety activities.
- Champion a safety-first environment by driving employee engagement, accountability, and leadership involvement at all organizational levels.
- Build, mentor, and develop a high-performing EHS team capable of supporting future organizational growth.
- Design and implement scalable EHS programs, systems, and processes aligned with integral standards and business objectives.
- Partner with Operations, Engineering, Quality, HR, and Site Leadership to drive business performance through strong EHS practices.
- Lead risk assessments, compliance audits, accident prevention initiatives, incident investigations, and corrective action programs.
- Drive continuous improvement projects focused on reducing risk, improving compliance, and enhancing operational performance.
- Utilize Lean Manufacturing and problem-solving methodologies to improve safety outcomes and workplace efficiency.
- Act as a visible leader on the shop floor, coaching teams and reinforcing ownership and accountability.
- Support organizational transformation initiatives associated with growth, expansion, and operational excellence.Perfil buscadoWe are seeking a hands-on leader who thrives in fast-paced manufacturing environments and has a passion for developing people, improving processes, and creating sustainable safety mindset.Requirements:- 8+ years of progressive leadership experience in EHS roles within manufacturing environments.
- Experience in automotive, metal-mechanical, industrial, electronics, or other high-volume/high-risk manufacturing operations.
- Proven track record building, developing, and leading successful EHS teams.
- Strong expertise in regulatory compliance, risk management, incident prevention, and environmental programs.
- Experience driving Lean Manufacturing, operational excellence, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Demonstrated ability to influence stakeholders and lead organizational change across multiple functions.
- Hands-on leadership style with a strong presence on the production floor.
- Advanced English communication skills.
