- Analyze assigned General Ledger accounts monthly and reconcile them against expected balances provided by operations within established deadlines- Investigate unidentified or reconciling items and determine potential corrections for subsequent months' entries- Ensure compliance with S-Ox (Sarbanes-Oxley), Internal Control policies, Finance Manuals, and other internal and external requirements- Help maintain Ford of Mexico's performance metrics at an adequate/acceptable level- Gain knowledge of other accounting-team positions to provide backup support and identify errors or process improvements- Support accurate financial information for consolidation purposes Requirements- Accountant with bachelor's degree- Intermediate level of English- Knowledge of Low Code applications (Power Platform)- Experience with Reconciliations Core Competencies Demonstrates expertise in General Ledger account analysis and reconciliation, ensuring compliance with S-Ox and internal control policies.
