About the role We are hiring a sales representative to sell light gauge steel to builders, contractors, and project owners in Southern California.
This is a direct sales role.
You will find prospects, make first contact, and carry conversations through to a signed order.
After the sale, you will remain the customer's point of contact.
The work is remote from Mexico.
The schedule is fixed to the Southern California business day.
Responsibilities Build and maintain a prospect list of builders, framers, developers, and related buyers in Southern California Source new leads through research, referrals, and outbound lists Contact prospects by phone, email, and SMS, using company-approved scripts and lists Qualify interest, explain the light gauge steel product,



and move qualified buyers toward a quote and a contract Prepare order details and hand off complete information for fulfillment Provide after-sale customer service, including order status, questions, and issue follow-up Keep the pipeline current: contact date, next step, and outcome Report weekly activity and open opportunities Requirements Professional English and Spanish, spoken and written Available 7:00 a.m.–4:00 p.m.
Pacific, Monday through Friday Experience in direct sales, inside sales, or business development Comfort with daily cold calling, cold email, and SMS outreach Reliable computer, phone, headset, and internet, and a quiet place for customer calls Ability to track activity in a spreadsheet or CRM Benefits Commission is paid on secured contracts
