About the Role
As a Business Development Manager, you will play a key role in identifying and developing new business opportunities across industrial and off-highway markets.
This is a hunter role. You will identify new opportunities, build relationships with target customers, bring new RFQs into the organization, and lead the development of opportunities through the commercial process until the business is won.
Once the opportunity is awarded and transitioned into the business, you will move on to developing the next opportunity.
Key Responsibilities
• Identify and develop new business opportunities in industrial and adjacent markets.
• Prospect and build relationships with new customers and strategic accounts.
• Identify opportunities within existing customers by understanding their broader needs and identifying additional products or applications Metalsa could support.
• Develop opportunities from initial customer engagement through RFQ, proposal and business award.
• Work closely with Engineering, Operations, Finance and Commercial teams to evaluate opportunities and develop competitive solutions.
• Understand customer requirements and translate them into actionable business opportunities.
• Support market-entry strategies by identifying attractive customers, applications and opportunities.
• Research market trends, customer needs and competitive activity to identify potential growth areas.
• Build and maintain a healthy business development pipeline.
• Prepare business cases, presentations and commercial recommendations
