Overview of the position
Lead the Accounting function by overseeing financial operations, internal controls, reporting accuracy, and team performance. Act as the right hand of the department leader, ensuring operational excellence, continuous improvement, stakeholder management, and the successful execution of key accounting and financial initiatives.

Typical Tasks:
• Lead and oversee Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and General Ledger operations.
• Manage month-end and year-end closing activities, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.




• Supervise and develop an accounting team of 3+ employees, providing coaching and performance management.
• Drive accounting process improvements, automation initiatives, and KPI monitoring through SAP, Excel, and Power BI.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, internal controls, and company financial policies

Required Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting is mandatory.
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) / Public Accountant background is required.
• Minimum 9 years of experience in Accounting and Financial Operations, including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, General Ledger, and Financial Closing.
• Minimum 4 years of experience leading teams of 3 or more employees.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS and Mexican Accounting Standards (MEXGAAP).
• Hands-on experience with SAP HANA or similar ERP systems, preferably within Finance and Accounting modules.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel and Power BI skills for
