In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
• Supervise the shifts in the machining area.
• Lead the machining, welding and hydrostatic testing area personnel.
• Train personnel in CNC machine operation and programming and in the safe use of cutting tools, develop a system to identify the accurate cutting tool for each machining operation
• Manage and control the use of cutting tools for machining and fine finishing on different metals
• Maintain a system of maximum and minimum raw material stock that is sufficient to supply a production of maximums and minimums in series of machined parts capable of supporting the requirements and needs of our customers without exceeding the established goals.
• Chart usage times, effective utilization and waste of CNC machines and develop waste reduction plans.
• Reduce machining costs, optimize cost per machining hour (hrs-machine), (hrs-man)
