Upgrade equipment installed on site through control logic modifications and hardware replacement (HMIs and PLCs). Support corrective and preventive maintenance activities to restart equipment affected by recurring failures.
Main Responsibilities
• Support corrective and preventive maintenance activities during equipment startup.
• Support Maintenance Engineering with equipment startup following new installations or process modifications.
• Report modifications that improve equipment and processes to the Engineering department.
• Document all PLC programming for equipment installed in the area.
• Train personnel under your supervision to improve their technical skills.
• Provide support for aluminum casting equipment or molding lines.
Position Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in mechatronics, electrical, industrial engineering, or related.
• 3 years or more of experience in aluminum fusion.
• 3 years or more of experience in molding.
• Strong focus on problem solving, testing & validation, occupational safety & health,
automation, and mechatronics.
• Strong emphasis on decision-making, people development, communication, planning, and action-oriented.
• Basic English level
Preferably
• 1 year or more of knowledge of automation processes
• .2 years or more of experience with project implementation.
• 1 year or more of experience with WCM (World Class Manufacturing).
• Experience with logistics administration software.
