What we need
Symbotic is seeking a Regional Controller (Mexico) to join our International Finance team within our Finance organization. Your job will be to serve as the primary finance owner for Symbotic's Mexico entity, overseeing statutory accounting, financial reporting, regulatory compliance, and third-party service providers while ensuring alignment between Mexican accounting requirements and U.S. GAAP reporting. This is a remote opportunity, preferred location Mexico City, MX. This position will report to the International Controller.

The International Finance organization supports Symbotic's integral operations by maintaining strong financial controls, ensuring regulatory compliance, and providing accurate financial reporting across international entities.
The team partners closely with Accounting, Tax, Legal, FP&A;, Operations, and external advisors to support business growth, operational excellence, and financial integrity in complex multinational environments.
What you'll do
· Serve as the primary finance lead for Symbotic's Mexico entity, overseeing local accounting operations and statutory compliance requirements.
· Manage and review the work performed by third-party accounting providers, ensuring the accuracy and completeness of financial records, filings, and reporting.
· Lead month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities, including journal entry reviews, account reconciliations, accruals, and financial analyses.
· Prepare, review, and investigate balance sheet reconciliations, accounting variances, and financial discrepancies while proactively escalating risks and recommendations to management.
