ICON seeks a Global Logistics Associate to coordinate and manage the movement of goods and materials across the clinical research supply chain. The role involves overseeing logistics operations for clinical studies from initiation through closure, managing vendor relationships, and ensuring cost-effective delivery of services across multiple sites.
Responsibilities
Lead and coordinate general logistics activities for assigned clinical studies from start-up through close-out
Serve as primary logistics contact for sponsors, internal teams, and external partners, resolving logistics issues
Plan and document study-specific logistics processes, workflows, and country-level requirements
Manage logistics risks and issues, track timeline impacts, and drive mitigation strategies
Oversee vendor contracts, depot setup, investigational product distribution, and logistics budgets for compliance
Requirements




Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field
Minimum 3 years supply chain or logistics experience supporting clinical trials in global, multi-site environments
Proven experience managing study-specific logistics in complex, regulated operational contexts
Strong organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple priorities in fast-paced settings
Fluency in written and spoken English; excellent cross-functional communication and collaboration abilities
Proficiency with logistics or supply chain management systems and Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Outlook, Teams, Word)
