We are seeking a highly organized, proactive, and experienced Remote HR Manager to lead and support our growing team. In this role, you will oversee key Human Resources functions, including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, training and development, performance management, policy development, and HR operations.

Position Overview
As the HR Manager, you will play a key role in supporting and strengthening our organization by overseeing the employee lifecycle, from recruitment and hiring through onboarding, employee development, performance management, and ongoing HR support.
You will work closely with leadership and department supervisors to develop and implement HR processes, policies, and initiatives that support the continued growth and success of the firm.
Core ResponsibilitiesRecruitment & Hiring Management
- Oversee and manage the recruitment process for positions across multiple departments.
- Review candidates and coordinate the selection process with department supervisors and leadership.
- Conduct and facilitate professional, real-time video interviews with qualified candidates.
- Develop and maintain structured interview processes and standards.
- Prepare interview questions and ensure interviews are conducted consistently and professionally.
- Coordinate interview schedules and maintain clear communication with candidates throughout the hiring process.
- Partner with department leaders to understand staffing needs and identify qualified candidates.
- Maintain accurate hiring records and candidate documentation.
- Organize and maintain recruitment files and folders within the company's designated storage systems.
Onboarding & Employee Management
- Oversee and coordinate the onboarding process for new employees and contractors.
- Ensure all required employment, contractor, and onboarding documentation is completed and properly maintained.
- Coordinate onboarding activities with department supervisors and relevant team members.
- Monitor the employee lifecycle and help ensure a smooth transition into each department.
- Maintain accurate and confidential employee records.
- Serve as a point of contact for employees regarding general HR-related questions and concerns.
Training & Development
- Oversee and support the development and delivery of onboarding and employee training programs.
- Ensure new team members receive thorough and engaging training in accordance with established guidelines.
- Conduct training check-ins and evaluate employee understanding and progress.
- Collaborate with department supervisors to identify training needs and areas for improvement.
- Monitor post-training performance and provide reports and recommendations to leadership.
- Support the ongoing professional development of team members.
Performance Management & Employee Relations
- Support leadership and supervisors in monitoring employee performance and addressing performance concerns.
- Assist in developing and implementing performance improvement plans when necessary.
- Maintain appropriate documentation related to employee performance and HR matters.
- Help address employee concerns professionally, fairly, and confidentially.
- Promote a positive, respectful, and professional work environment.
- Collaborate with leadership to develop strategies that support employee engagement and retention.
HR Policies & Process Development
- Collaborate closely with leadership to develop, review, and improve HR policies and procedures.
- Draft clear, organized, and practical policies to support consistent operations.
- Ensure HR processes are properly documented and communicated to employees.
- Conduct research as needed to support HR initiatives and policy development.
- Provide clear reports and recommendations based on research and operational needs.
- Help ensure HR practices remain consistent with company standards and applicable requirements.
Communication, Reporting & Team Support
- Maintain clear and professional communication with employees, candidates, department supervisors, and leadership.
- Provide regular updates regarding HR initiatives, recruitment progress, onboarding, and employee-related matters.
- Collect and organize important information from different departments.
- Support the development and monitoring of HR-related KPIs.
- Prepare reports and summaries for leadership as needed.
- Proactively identify operational needs and recommend improvements to HR processes.
- Manage multiple projects and priorities while ensuring deadlines are met.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in Human Resources, including experience in recruitment, employee relations, onboarding, or HR operations.
- Previous leadership or management experience is strongly preferred.
- Experience managing recruitment and conducting professional interviews.
- Excellent camera presence and confidence conducting virtual interviews and meetings.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Excellent organizational, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to prioritize multiple tasks effectively.
- Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with professionalism and discretion.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Proactive, resourceful, and comfortable working independently in a remote environment.
- Tech-savvy and comfortable learning and using new software and systems.
- Proficient in Google Workspace, including Google Docs, Sheets, and Slides.
- Experience with HR software, applicant tracking systems, or employee management platforms is a plus.
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is required.

- Functional webcam and professional remote workspace.
- Ability to participate in regular video meetings and interviews.
- Quiet, secure, and distraction-free work environment.
Work monitoring software may be required and must be installed within a designated work profile to protect company and client data and monitor screen activity during business hours only.
Position Details
Job Type: Full-TimeSchedule: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM PST
Compensation: $11 USD per hour
