Kyungshin Cable Mexico is a company specialized in the manufacturing of automotive wiring harnesses and electrical components, supporting the automotive industry through high-quality manufacturing processes and global quality standards.

We are currently looking for a Supplier Quality Coordinator to join our team in Gómez Palacio, Durango.

This position will be responsible for coordinating supplier quality activities and performance, ensuring compliance with quality requirements, leading supplier audits and corrective actions, and supporting supplier development and continuous improvement initiatives.

We are looking for a quality professional with solid experience in the automotive industry, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and the ability to effectively coordinate with suppliers and cross-functional teams.

Location: Gómez Palacio, Durango, Mexico
Work arrangement: On-site

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Coordinate supplier quality management and performance monitoring, ensuring compliance with established quality requirements.
- Conduct and follow up on supplier audits and quality assessments.
- Manage supplier non-conformances and corrective actions, ensuring timely resolution and effectiveness.
- Lead root cause analysis, problem-solving, 8D, and CAPA activities to prevent recurrence of quality issues.
- Support PPAP and APQP activities related to supplier quality and product development.
- Ensure proper quality documentation, reporting, standards, and procedures.
- Monitor and analyze supplier quality KPIs and performance data, identifying improvement opportunities.
- Coordinate supplier development and continuous improvement activities, ensuring proper follow-up of action plans.
- Maintain effective communication with suppliers, customers, and cross-functional teams regarding quality issues and requirements.




- Ensure compliance with IATF 16949 requirements and applicable automotive quality standards.

REQUIREMENTS:

- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Quality Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in Quality within the automotive industry.
- Experience in supplier quality, audits, problem-solving, and corrective action follow-up.
- Strong leadership, organizational, communication, and results-oriented skills.
- Advanced English proficiency, with the ability to communicate effectively with suppliers, customers, and global teams.
