DescripciónThe Customs & Trade Compliance Manager will be responsible for leading customs and trade compliance activities across multiple manufacturing divisions operating under the same legal entity.
Key responsibilities include:
- Lead all customs compliance and trade operations activities.
- Prepare the organization for OEA certification and support continuous compliance initiatives.
- Manage customs audits, governmental inspections, penalties, and regulatory matters.
- Partner with external advisors and customs consultants to strengthen processes and controls.
- Drive compliance assessments and identify opportunities for process improvement.




- Collaborate closely with security, warehouse, finance, operations, and corporate compliance teams.
- Ensure accurate customs documentation and adherence to regulatory requirements.
- Develop and mentor team members, fostering a positive, collaborative, and high-performance environment.
- Promote effective communication and influence across departments and organizational levels.
- Support strategic trade compliance initiatives involving both Mexican and U.S. customs operations.

Perfil buscado
- Bachelor's degree in International Trade, Business, Logistics, Law, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 8 years of experience in Customs, Trade Compliance, Import/Export, or related areas.
- Experience managing customs audits, government inspections, regulatory compliance, and penalties.
- Strong understanding of Mexican customs regulations and maquiladora operations.
- Knowledge of U.S. Customs, CTPAT, OEA,
