Zygraen is a boutique financial risk, market and operational intelligence firm supporting companies, investors and decision-makers. It combines financial analysis, market intelligence, operational assessment and legal insight to evaluate opportunities, counterparties, transactions and strategic commitments before capital, resources or reputation are materially exposed.

The role sits at the intersection of law, transactions, financial risk and commercial decision-making. It is intended for a lawyer who is technically strong but also comfortable understanding the business behind a contract, participating in client discussions and translating legal findings into practical recommendations.
This is not a conventional in-house legal role. The Associate will work directly across Zygraen engagements involving counterparties, market entry, partnerships, M&A; screening, supply chain arrangements and other strategic transactions.

What you will do
• Draft, review and negotiate commercial agreements, NDAs, LOIs, service agreements, supply and distribution arrangements and other transaction documentation.




• Support corporate and transactional matters, including governance, shareholder arrangements and investment-related documentation.
• Conduct legal and regulatory research relevant to client decisions and identify legal issues capable of affecting financial, commercial or operational risk.
• Participate in legal and contractual due diligence and pre-transaction screening.
• Translate operational, financial and counterparty findings into contractual protections and negotiation priorities.
• Participate directly in client meetings, project discussions and selected commercial conversations.
• Work alongside Zygraen’s financial, market and operational teams rather than operating as a separate legal function.
• Coordinate with external specialist counsel when an engagement requires expertise outside Zygraen’s internal scope.
