General job description:

- Ensures compliance with corporate accounting policies, procedures, norms, rules, and practices.
- Ensures proper administration of local statutory reporting, tax accounting requirements, and the filing of tax returns on a timely basis.
- Administers relationships with tax authorities, payroll service bureau, auditors, and other related agencies.
- Ensures that internal control of accounting systems is in place and maintained in order to safeguard the company assets and avoid liabilities.
- Prepares balance sheet account reconciliations of moderate complexity.
- Prepares cash receipts, disbursement journals, and accruals monthly.
- Prepares monthly cash flow forecasts and ensures that sufficient funds are always available to meet the company's liabilities.
- Maintains Miami Accounting and Country Manager updated on accounting related activities by submitting required reports and keeping them informed on issues and changes in related laws and regulations.
- May be required to perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements: Minimum Education:

- Bachelor's degree in accounting.




- Fluent in English.

Minimum Experience:

- Four (4) years accounting experience.
- Local professional certification if required.
- Two (2) years' experience as an Accountant.

Minimum Required Skills:

- Extensive knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles.
- Computer literate.
- Spreadsheet experience preferred.
- Excellent analytical, mathematical, and communications skills (written/oral).
