Tasks and Qualifications:

This is What you Will Do in This Role:

- Electrical (HW) Design - With mentorship from more senior engineers.
Interprets design input information to produce simple control systems designs.
Select and placement of electrical and controls components in conveyor system ensuring accurate functioning. ( Photoeyes , I/O Blocks, Beacon Lights, Control Stations, Gateways, VFDs, etc ) .
Builds Electrical Layouts and Schematic Drawings using appropriate CAD tools.
Performs FLA, Power Drop, Cable Length,



and other calculations ensuring designs proper functioning and compliance with Dematic and Industrial Standards.
Designs of Industrial Networks following both Dematic and Industrial standards (Ethernet, ProfiBus / ProfiNet , ASi , DCAN, etc ).
- Software (SW) Design - With mentorship from more senior engineers.
Design simple conveyor controls software using programming tools such as AB Logix Designer, Siemens TIA Portal/Step 7, etc.
Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs) parameters configuration according to specific applications.
Creation of Embedded Conveyor Controllers (ECCs) configuration and parameters files.
Attendance and material preparation for Software Technical Reviews.
Creation of Conveyor System Emulation Models for further testing.
- 0 to 2 years of experience in a related field and demonstration of key responsibilities and knowledge as presented above.
- Mechatronic Engineer Degree or related.
- Basic Experience in the engineering work environment (school projects or internships acceptable).
- Applied knowledge of PLC software (Siemens, ABB, Bechoff).
- Applied knowledge of Electrical Technical Drawing.
- Applied knowledge of Industrial Network configuration (ProfiNet, ASi, CAN).
- Applied Knowledge of automation systems.
