Your mission You will work on different projects to help Astrafy customers get the most out of their data . You will work on both the business and technical sides of customer use cases. Importantly, you will be on a newly opened Astrafy workplace in Monterrey, where you will progressively take ownership and responsibility over the engineering team as we scale. Your core responsibilities will include: Leadership: You will act as a mentor, foster technical growth, and ensure high-quality project delivery. Pipeline Design & Maintenance: Design and maintain scalable data pipelines leveraging technologies such as Airflow, dbt, Big Query, Pubsub, and other Google Cloud / Open Source tools, ensuring efficient and reliable data ingestion, transformation, and delivery. Cloud Infrastructure Optimization: Develop and optimize data infrastructure in the Google Cloud environment, implementing best practices for performance, cost, and security. Infrastructure as Code: Use Terraform to automate infrastructure provisioning and manage containerized workloads, promoting agility and repeatability across environments. Data Governance & Quality: Implement robust data governance, security, and quality measures, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and compliance throughout the data lifecycle. Architecture Evolution: Continuously refine data architecture to accommodate changing business needs, scaling solutions to handle increased data volume and complexity. Innovation & Best Practices: Champion a culture of innovation by researching, evaluating, and recommending emerging data technologies and industry best practices.
