The Manufacturing & Engineering Team Lead is responsible for leading and developing a multidisciplinary engineering team, ensuring operational excellence, process reliability, and alignment with business objectives. This role combines strong technical expertise, people leadership, and strategic decision-making to drive manufacturing performance, resolve complex production challenges, and support continuous improvement initiatives. The position plays a key role in developing team capabilities, optimizing processes, and ensuring customer and business requirements are consistently met.

Lead, coach, and develop a team of engineers and technicians in a manufacturing environment.
Manage team priorities, resource allocation, and project execution to support business objectives.
Drive root cause analysis, failure mode analysis, and effective problem-solving for manufacturing and product-related issues.
Lead cross-functional projects from planning through implementation, including scope, budget, and timeline management.
Support production operations, ensuring rapid resolution of process, equipment, and quality issues.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders, customers, and suppliers to address technical challenges and improve performance.
Escalate resource, capability, and operational risks as needed.
Promote a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and Lean Manufacturing principles.




Understand and support financial objectives, productivity targets, and value stream performance.
Ensure customer requirements and Voice of Customer (VOC) feedback are reflected in operational and engineering decisions.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Mechatronics, Electromechanical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Automation & Controls, Metallurgical Engineering, or related field.
5-8 years of experience in manufacturing operations, engineering, or production support roles.
Previous experience leading technical teams in a manufacturing environment.
Project management experience.
Supervisory or leadership training preferred.
Intermediate to advanced English proficiency.

Preferred Technical Experience

Manufacturing process engineering and production support.
Machining, metalworking, and industrial manufacturing processes.
Interpretation of technical manuals, drawings, and engineering documentation.
Pneumatic, hydraulic, electrical, and automated systems troubleshooting.
Product and process failure investigations, RMAs, and corrective actions.
Supplier technical communication and support.
Experience in aerospace, automotive, or similar high-volume manufacturing environments.
Knowledge of heat treatment, metal forming, bending processes, plastic molding, or extrusion processes is highly desirable.
